Kravetz has created a novel that not only does justice to the procedures of both the medical and police profession, but one that is unique and character-focused. Rather than stuffing her novel with senseless action, she pulls the reader in with the importance of the main characters' everyday lives and actions. As a reader, you genuinely begin to care about the little decisions these officers make. Dialogue is snappy and humorous and the atmosphere of the scenes, especially the romantic ones, are highlighted well. I felt like I was in the room with the characters often. While this may read more like a drama than an action story, it was highly entertaining and a fun, light read. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys their fiction without a huge amount of tension."
